Curry and Ceilidh Night on Saturday 9th March 2019

Tuesday 19/03/2019

We are sorry if you missed this very successful event. A very successful evening was organised by Jim and Pat Spence at the Dervaig Village Hall. Pat prepared some mouth-watering Thai curries, whilst Jim and his talented daughter Mimi along with Mike Hale provided the musical entertainment. Thanks to everyone who came and everyone who helped raise a fantastic sum of £300.00 for our projects.

Concern over Neonicotinoids

Tuesday 19/03/2019

Whilst the UK government refuse to ban the use of these chemicals, it remains legal for treated trees to be planted in our Mull landscape and our concern grows that this could be happening on our island again. We are considering ways of further publicising our concerns with as many bodies as possible and have the full support of MSP, Michael Russell, who chaired our last round table meeting in 2018. Michael will be attending an event in May which will include our AGM. If you are concerned about preserving Mull as a wildlife haven, the more we lobby the government to change its stance the better our chances of achieving this will be.
